This kit caught my eye while I was browsing on Amazon, and it caused me to realize I don't have a Gelgoog for my 1/144 Zeon army. Well, I do now. This Gelgoog is pretty simple (it's an old kit), but it's quite a nice kit. It's a sniper type unit that does away with the classic Gelgoog shield and adds some booster pods on the back. Also, this kit shows up constantly in Gundam Breaker 3, which I got about a week after building this kit.

75054 AT-AT Walker
Today is the release date for The Last Jedi, and of course the whole world is excited. I have not been a fan of most of the new vehicle designs for this movie, hopefully when I see it later the actual movie will change my mind. But for now, I'll leave you with the far superior walker, the AT-AT (pronounced as A-T-A-T, not at at), which still outclasses the newer, bigger gorilla walker.

Han Solo
Han Solo was one of the best characters to grace the screen across the whole Star Wars series. As much as I know Harrison Ford was not a fan of the series, he did the best job in the core cast (probably the reason he was the only one to go on and have a successful career). It took some time for me to hunt down this figure, and finally complete my A New Hope main cast.

75019 AT-TE Walker
So obviously nobody really liked the prequilogy, but the Battle of Geonosis scenes in Episode II were a high point of the series. And these walkers, an earlier version of the Imperial Walker, definitely left an impression. They were awesome tanks walking around with big guns, and Lego has done a fantastic job reproducing it.

Obi Wan Kenobi
There's not much to say. Obi-Wan Kenobi is perhaps the third most important character in the Star Wars universe (assuming Anakin and Luke are 1&2). The elderly Kenobi is an absolute classic, and as beloved as Ewan McGregor was in the role he can't hold a candle to Alec Guinness.

75093 Death Star Final Duel
When this kit was announced, I was so incredibly excited. I hadn't gotten a Vader, Palpatine, or Royal Guard to that point in time, so this was a great kit. Then I found out that Darth Vader came with a two-piece helmet to better represent the movie scene where he removes his helmet.

Imperial Royal Guard
This is one of the best examples of a character who got about 20 seconds of screen time but became an iconic Star Wars design. The Imperial Royal Guard is a pretty awesome design, though they don't have a very practical look to them. That is, until I got this figure and saw what they have on under the cloaks. I still like these guys so much better than the new The Last Jedi designs, although those are growing on me.
