This is an older kit, one of those ones that I got back during the holiday season. I've finally finished adding all of the dry-transfers and stickers. I've only taken pictures of defenser B-unit, because that is surely the more interesting looking of the two. This guy may have to replace the GP02A on my Federation shelf, not because I think it's a cooler mobile suit but because that model is very much showing it's age.

Man-Thing
For today's entry we have Man-Thing, the Marvel super-powerful swamp monster. When I first learned of Man-Thing, I immediately got confused because I thought he was Swamp-Thing (which I know is DC). To me, Swamp-Thing is much more famous and well known than Man-Thing, but as it turns out Man-Thing existed a few months earlier than Swamp-Thing as they were both introduced by their respective comics companies in 1971 (really, could they not go a few months without copying one-another). This was a Build-a-Figure for the Marvel Legends line that included most of the Netflix characters.

For today's entry I bring you Lando Calrissian, the suave operator of Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back.

Lasher
I love Venom and all the Venom-symbiote spinoffs. This is one of them. I don't know much about Lasher, or the comics he came from, but I know he's one of a group of symbiote characters who I think were basically color-coded. Don't mind the tape on this figure's feet, I just wanted to try out a dynamic pose and I could only get him to stand up with some help.

MG Char's Zaku Ver. 2.0
Not my first Zaku, and not my first Zaku ver 2.0, but that just goes to show you how much I enjoy building these things. There's not much to describe about this that hasn't already been done. It has some extra thrusters on the leg compared to a regular Zaku, and a slightly new-ish backpack, but that's it.

Praetorian Guard
The Last Jedi was admittedly one of the weakest of the Star Wars movies, mostly because it made some side-plot missteps. But one of the greatest scenes in it (despite some dubious editing at moments) is the throne room fight between Rey and Kylo Ren and the Praetorian Guard. I was not a huge fan of these guys as far as their visual design goes, and I still prefer the OG Imperial Guard from Return of the Jedi, but they worked well for their moment in the spotlight. I've heard fans say "well at least they did something, unlike the old guards."

Makina Nakajima
Makina is another character from Macross Delta's team of idols. She's probably the most anime of the characters, at least visually, and in an odd contrast to her girly looks she's actually one of the lead mechanics for the whole team.

Freyja WIon
Here's the Figu-Rise Bust of Freyja Wion, one of the main protagonists of Macross Delta. She was alright as a main character (having finally finished the series), but was very much a stereotypical anime girl. She did have some great moments, particularly when she and male lead Hayate Immelman took a late night flight and she continued to show off her creepy laugh.
