Setsuna F. Seiei

I caught Gundam 00 shortly after it first aired in Japan, and remember enjoying it quite a bit, but it didn't have the same type of staying power as the UC series or some of the other alternate universes. It seemed much grittier at the time than what we got with Gundam Wing or Gundam Seed before it, but has since been shown up by Unicorn and Iron-Blooded Orphans. Also, Setsuna was perhaps the most bland of all of the Gundam main characters. But the characters were mostly well designed, and it was one of the better looking Gundam shows. Plus, I really do like these little busts, so there's that.

MG Exia

The Exia was never one of my favorite gundams. It was one of the coolest mobile suits in 00, but it just didn't stack up to so many other main character gundams throughout the years. It lacks the austerity of the RX-78, the versatility of the Z Gundam, and the decadence of the Wing 0 and the Strike Freedom. It was a melee only Gundam, piloted by the least interesting character in the series. But as for the model kit, while it has it's issues, it's a pretty impressive kit. As I've said in the past, you can tell a lot about a kit by it's feet, and the Exia has articulated toes, which is something you only really see on ver. Ka's and 2.0s or later. But while the kit has a lot of articulation that makes it a fun build (chest/shoulders, ankles, wrists), it can be a little finnicky when it comes to posing. Luckily the joints are nice and tight and the kit's pretty light, so while it takes some effort to get everything perfect, it will at least hold it's position once it's there. It also has some flexible "ribbon" that runs from the shoulders to the upper arms and which serves as "window panels" on the thighs. It's a unique kit, especially for a $40-ish price point.

MG 00 Raiser

This model kit is kind of a divisive kit for me. On the one hand, it was a very fun build and looks great. On the other hand, it struggles under it's own size and any attempt to change the pose or configuration ends up a half hour long battle of pieces and limbs falling off and things just generally not going the way you want. That said, there's a new P-Bandai version with an upgraded Raiser unit that I really kind of want to buy, even knowing the issues I currently have. So, it's a kit I tend to like quite a lot, but it's also pretty much a brick and is one of the first I'll retire from my shelves whenever I need some extra display room.

Cyclops

While I was always more of a DC fan, and particularly a Batman fan, the old 90s X-Men cartoon was something I remember enjoying (though I don't remember a single part of it). The 90s were kind of an iconic period for the X-Men, and therefore this particular Jim Lee design of the character will always be the definitive look for the character. I was pretty happy when this figure was first shown off.

75052 Mos Eisley Cantina

When this set came out, I was pretty torn. I desperately wanted the Dewback and Sandtrooper, but already had Luke's Landspeeder and the Luke, Obi-Wan, and Han minifigures. Obviously, I eventually got the set, and will admit that the minifigures were all pretty good upgrades on my previous ones. The Dewback and sandtrooper are great. When I pack the rest of the set away, I usually keep them out on my desk.

The cantina itself is surprisingly awesome. Lego Star Wars doesn't often offer places rather than vehicles, but this one is pretty solid. It folds open and closed, the booths slide out to offer more space for play, and the bar is a pretty fun approximation of the movie's bar.

Moon Knight

Moon Knight is a Marvel character similar to Batman. He is a former boxer, marine, CIA operative, and mercenary who died and was resurrected by the Egyptian god of vengeance and decides to use his second chance to become a crime fighter (sounds crazy, right?). He also has dissociative identity disorder, and has three alternate personalities. Besides that, he's a "regular" person who uses gadgets and combat skills to fight crime (like Batman).
