75153 AT-ST (All-Terrain Scout-Transport) "Chicken" Walker

The AT-ST is the most recent lego set I've managed to get my hands on, and it continues Lego's impressive run of walkers. Unlike the similar AT-DP, the AT-ST has legs with at least one moveable joint (the hips could pretty easily be "unlocked" to create some action poses with a proper mount). The Baze Malbus figure has a neat accessory, but the figure itself isn't particularly interesting. Other than that, it comes with an Imperial pilot and a Rebel trooper. I would have preferred that they just chose to package this set as an Endor set, this walker was barely even in Rogue One.

7259 ARC-170 Starfighter

This is the 2005 version of the ARC-170, one of my favorite ship designs from the prequilogy. I bought it used, so I didn't get any of the minifigures that came with the original set, I've just acquired extra clone pilots along the way. Anyway, as I said, this is the older of the two versions of this kit, and it really shows. The newer version doesn't appear to be drastically different, but it just seems to be more solidly constructed than this. In fact, with a few extra pieces I could probably use this kit to build the newer version. I'll have to look into it.

75045 AV-7 Anti-Vehicle Cannon

I love walkers and big artillery in the Star Wars universe. I love the Empire and the Republic as far as vehicular designs. This particular set fits in nicely to the aesthetic I love. The cannon comes with Plo Koon, the jedi master. It also comes with two Wolf Pack clonetroopers and a droideka.

75049 Snowspeeder

I always loved the Battle of Hoth as one of the best sequences of the original Star Wars Trilogy. This set includes a few of my favorites: the snowtrooper, the E-WEB Blaster, and of course Luke Skywalker (I don't have his lightsaber pictured). Also included is Dak Ralter, Luke's very dead co-pilot/gunner. The snowspeeder itself has a tow-cable to be able to reproduce the ability to tie up a walker's legs.

Epyon

Like many people in America, Gundam Wing was my first experience in the Gundam Franchise. My favorite gundam was undoubtedly the Epyon. It was the coolest gundam with the most badass pilot (Milliardo, not Heero) and of course the most badass sword. Plus, it was the first gundam I ever saw with a whip. The final battle between the Epyon and Wing Zero was epic, and given the fact that one looked like an angel and the other a demon, it was quite apocalyptic in theme.

This model transforms, but as usual, I don't really care about that. It is technically a slight redesign of the original, for me most clearly seen in the legs. The part I like most about this kit is its wings. After owning the old 1/100 HG kit as a kid, the wings on this one are beautiful and well articulated (the old kit's were just a single piece of solid plastic).

76053 Gotham City Cycle Chase

I finally grabbed this set because I feared it would soon be discontinued. I didn't care much for the motorcycles, but I did like the Batman and Harley Quinn figures. And it was a cheap set. It's still available for people to grab it.

Tallgeese

The Tallgeese is a weird mobile suit. On the one hand, it comes off as very boring-looking. It's all white and looks a lot like a Leo. On the other hand, it looks very cool in a utile way. I love the way it looks like a suped-up, customized Leo. It's not a perfect work of art like the gundams of this series, it's a rough and ready mobile suit that probably has more power packed into it than the frame can actually handle. I didn't really like the Tallgeese back when I first saw the series, but it was perhaps the kit I got most excited about when it came to Gundam Wing kits.
