Deadpool

So of course I'm a Deadpool fan. I think now that the second movie's coming soon, everyone's a Deadpool fan. The figure's a great one, with all of the possible accessories included (most of them not pictured because I'm lazy). I particularly love that his right hand is for holding his guns with his pinky out and that he comes with a taco (I guess chimichangas don't make for good action figure accessories). I had been looking for him for a while, and finally found him at my local comic shop's Christmas sale.

HGUC Efreet Schneid

There's not much to say about this kit. It's definitely more easily available than the P-Bandai RE/100 version, but not quite as solid a kit. It does have the daggers molded in color, which is a step up, but you have to use stickers for a lot of the vents, which is a definite step down. Overall, the RE/100 is definitely superior if you can get it at a decent price.

Gundam Vidar

I still haven't seen the second season of Iron-Blooded Orphans, so I don't know much about this gundam. But I thought it looked cooler than all the other IBO designs, and it was cheap. I still don't like the waist, but most of the rest of this thing is pretty cool.

Jessica Jones

Before we get to all the new Gundams, let me post this real quick (I've been busy building, after all). This is an excellent figure, mostly in that it looks a lot like Krysten Ritter, which means it beats out a lot of other attempted likenesses. Other than that, it's pretty pedestrian. It's not like she has a cool superhero outfit or accessories (maybe they should have given her a camera?).

 

Clearance Sale

Here's what I bought from my local hobby shop before they close forever. It's sad, I've been going to that shop since I was probably eleven or so. There's some stuff I probably wouldn't have bought otherwise, but it was on sale and I felt kind of like I should help them clear out their inventory.

Oh No...

I got a gift card to my local hobby shop for Christmas. I had planned to just sit on it until the GM Command Colony type comes out in Feb/March, but today I decided to poke my head in on my way home to see if they had anything interesting. Well, it turns out they're going out of business, as the owner's retiring and could not find a buyer. So that's very disappointing, and I'm glad I went in before they closed. I'm going to stop buy and get some stuff on clearance when I get paid tomorrow, I'll show it off soon.

The Holiday Haul

So here's a quick picture of all the things I received and bought between Nov-Dec. This doesn't include the 7 video games I got for Christmas or the items I'll be buying with the gift cards I received. I spoiled myself and was spoiled big-time. It's going to be a busy few months catching up on all of this.
