Charizard

Charmander's my favorite of the original Pokemon, so Charizard is a Pokemon I end up with quite often. So here's Charizard, one of the most iconic and powerful Pokemon of all time.

SH Figuarts Harley Quinn

I love the Figuarts figure line, I just wish they weren't so expensive. They really do the best job of capturing the likeness of an actual person or character, and they are also among the most posable figures/model kits out there. It can be hard to pose a lot of figures in a realistic posture, but it's no problem for these. This Harley Quinn looks just like the Margot Robbie character, and is a fantastic figure. It comes with a gun and a baseball bat, two alternate faces, and a number of alternate hands to pull off many poses. If I was to come up with negatives for this figure? The ankle joints don't do a great job with the boots. It would have been better if they painted the joint black, if nothing else. Also, I would have preferred her without the jacket, but that's a minor gripe.

Elektra

Here's Elektra from Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil. She's a pretty bland figure, but her head sculpt looks pretty much like the actress from the show.

MG GP03S "Stamen"

I grabbed this kit knowing that it was old, and that it wouldn't stand up to newer master grades. But it had some interesting gimmicks and I thought it might be worth the $35-ish price tag at which I got it. I was wrong, this is absolutely the worst MG I've ever built. I never even decided to go back and finish it with lining or building the core-fighter.

HGUC Gouf Custom

I already have the MG Gouf Custom, and basically I had not planned on buying this, but it was the cheapest Zeon HG that was available when I wanted to test out some new panel lining techniques. By the time I built it, I ended up not even doing much lining on it, but oh well.

Mikumo Guynemer

This is one of the characters from Macross Delta. Disappointingly, I haven't been able to finish watching this series yet, but the first half was excellent and I'll definitely go back to it. She is the leader of the military pop-diva group (it's weird) Walkure. I got her first because I liked the multi-colored aspect of her hair. The amount of stickers and their quality, though, is a disappointment. Some day, I'll have to take this apart and paint a lot of it up to improve the look, but sitting up on the shelf it looks fine.

Snorlax and Munchlax

Here's another Megaconstrux kit. This one actually includes two Pokemon, even though it's one of the larger, usually single Pokemon kits. These kits really fit the broader-faced Pokemon like Snorlax a lot better than the narrow-faced ones like Cubone.

HGUC Dreissen

This is an awesome little kit (it's actually a pretty big mobile suit). I got it just before Christmas, and haven't posted it because, well, I've been busy. This is the Unicorn version, from the Sleeves sect of Zeon. Unicorn did a fantastic job of reinterpreting these older Zeon mobile suit designs for modern Gundam fans, and the Sleeves version of the Dreissen is so much cooler than the ZZ version of the Dreissen.

Liko

I have watched some of this show, but haven't finished Active Raid. It's pretty good, though when I got this bust I expected Liko to have more of a role in the show (it sounds like she'll be a plot point later on). I really like these busts, but this one is a little different than the Gundam busts in one way: the head is in a fixed position, which takes away the last bit of posability that these things had. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I definitely noticed it.
