MG Geara Doga (Full Frontal Use)

So, when I got some cash for my birthday, I had to figure out what to spend it on. I had been thinking for a while to pick up a MG Geara Doga, which were going for about $65 at the time. I happened to see this particular P-Bandai exclusive version of that kit going for $78. So I picked up my first P-Bandai kit. The funny thing, there's not much difference besides the color. It's got the sleeves wrist guards and an extra rifle, as well as water-slide decals instead of stickers. It even includes the original instruction booklet, and only printed out a single foldout for the new couple of things.
I wanted to grab a Geara Doga because I just wanted to build a big kit. Everything I've done lately has been in the 15-18m mobile suit size, while the Doga is about 20m and bulky. This guy stands a full head taller than my Dom, Kampfer, and Gouf, and that was pretty satisfying. Another think I really love about it is the amount of exposed hoses visible all around the kit.
The decal for the mono-eye tore when I tried to apply it, but I wasn't sure I wanted to use it anyway. I'll try to get some clear pink or red paint for it at some point.

One thing that held me up on this kit was trying to paint the sleeves emblems. I decided to try out the reverse-wash technique, because I've heard a lot about it being the best way to achieve the look. It took a while because I was using spray paints, which have to be sprayed outside, but the weather's been pretty bad. It turned out pretty well, there's only a few spots that I wish turned out better, but not badly enough that I want to retry it from the beginning.

Since I built the mobile suit, I've misplaced the grip-hands, so I couldn't pose him up in the ways I wanted to in order to display his other weapons, but they'll turn up eventually. I'll revisit this kit for sure.
