Epyon

Like many people in America, Gundam Wing was my first experience in the Gundam Franchise. My favorite gundam was undoubtedly the Epyon. It was the coolest gundam with the most badass pilot (Milliardo, not Heero) and of course the most badass sword. Plus, it was the first gundam I ever saw with a whip. The final battle between the Epyon and Wing Zero was epic, and given the fact that one looked like an angel and the other a demon, it was quite apocalyptic in theme.

This model transforms, but as usual, I don't really care about that. It is technically a slight redesign of the original, for me most clearly seen in the legs. The part I like most about this kit is its wings. After owning the old 1/100 HG kit as a kid, the wings on this one are beautiful and well articulated (the old kit's were just a single piece of solid plastic).
