RG Justice Gundam

Athrun Zala's second mobile suit after the destruction of the Aegis was the Justice Gundam. The Justice was created by ZAFT based on the captured Gundams of the GAT-Series, and was given to Athrun to hunt down and recover the stolen Freedom Gundam. Athrun takes the Justice Gundam and defects to ORB. He later causes the suit to self-destruct within ZAFT's super laser, bringing an end to the First Plant-Alliance War.

This kit really shows the strengths of the RG series, as it may be one of the most detailed gunpla I've ever built. However, it does suffer in one place due to its size: its wings are non-collapsible, so standing poses end up looking kind of odd. This kit basically needs a stand so it can be in a permanent flight-pose.

With the flight-pack, it is super back-heavy, so it has to have a very obvious lean when posed in a standing position (think like Michael Jackson). And again, paired with those permanently extended wings, it just looks off.

But, the backpack itself is wonderfully detailed. In many Master Grade kits, the main parts of the backpack don't really have anything in the way of color separation or detailed parts, but this backpack is actually very impressive.

In the end, I'd love to see more RG kits of this caliber, and I'd love to see some MG kits of this caliber as well.
