So I ended up seeing the movie today after all, and holy crap the Darth Vader scene might be the second best featuring the character of all time. He actually had two scenes, the first of which included him making a pun, to which I audibly groaned in the theater. The second scene, however, might be the Vader scene everyone has been looking forward to for decades. For a character who was once full of menace and mystery, he'd kind of been neutered by the prequels and the many changes to the original trilogy. But one short scene in
Rogue One brought back all of the terror of Darth Vader.
