Concert Last Night

Went to a show at a local bar here in town, got to see one of my favorites in Highly Suspect. It was a good show, only one opener so Highly Suspect got to play a pretty lengthy set. Played almost everything off of Mister Asylum, plus a handful of songs off of their upcoming The Boy Who Died Wolf. It was a pretty small venue, but the audience was very into it. The place was full of hardcore fans. I'll leave a video here of their newest song.

Between sets, the venue played a bunch of music from the 90s and early 00s. It turned into the most enthusiastic and well organized sing-a-long I think I've heard from a concert audience. When Bring Me to Life came on, the audience perfectly took over the two-part vocals. The women nailed the Amy Lee parts, while the guys hit all of the Paul McCoy lines. Everyone then came together to blare the Shinedown version of Simple Man.

The warm-up band was a group out of Arizona named Fairy Bones. They were actually pretty good, so I'll link one of their videos here as well.
