MG Hyaku-Shiki ver. 2.0
This kit became something of a running joke between my friends and I. I had been saying for years "maybe I'll pick up the Hyaku-Shiki this time" and always seemed to walk out with something different. Eventually, they came out with this ver 2.0, and even then, it took about two years for me to finally grab it. My friends always asked me why, and it's pretty simple. That gold costs money. It's no bigger a kit than a typical $40-50 kit, but you won't find it for less than $60-70 just based on that gold sheen. So when considering the build for my buck, I couldn't really justify it. But now that I have, I'm glad I did.
It is a unique looking suit, and that gold finish really helps it pop off the shelf. I also love that so much of the inner mechanics of the leg are exposed around the ankle/shin area.
